The first recipe we will be looking at is the basic perfume recipe. This is the simplest of all perfume recipes that you can reproduce at home.

Materials and ingredients :
- 2 cups water
- 2 cup fresh chopped flower blossoms (lavender, lilac, orange blossoms, honeysuckle)
- In a bowl, put a cheesecloth (make sure that the edges of the cloth hang over the side of the bowl).
- Fill with 1 cup of flower blossoms.
- Pour water over them until they are completely covered.
- Cover the bowl and allow it to sit overnight.
- The next day, take hold of the edges of the cheesecloth hanging over the side of the bowl and lift it up.
- Gently squeeze the scented water produced into a small pot.
- Place this water into a pot and allow it to simmer until there is about 1 tsp left of the liquid.
- Allow solution to cool, and place it in a small bottle.
- Shelf life : 1 month.

- 4 drops Sandalwood
- 4 drops Musk
- 3 drops Frankincense
- 2 tsp Jojoba oil (or other carrier oil)
- Mix all of the ingredients together in a bottle and shake well.
- Place them in a dark colored bottle.
- Allow the perfume to settle for at least 12 hours.
- After the time, store it in a cool dry area.
Materials and Ingredients :
2 cups distilled water
- 3 tbsp Vodka
- 5 drops Lavender
- 10 drops f Chamomile
- 10 drops Valerian
- Mix all these ingredients together in a bottle and shake it well.
- Transfer the mixture to a dark colored bottle.
- Allow the bottle to stand for 12 hours or more.
- After 12 hours, it can be used, and then stored in a cool dry area.

- 1 cup distilled water
- 1 cup Vodka
- 3 drops Lemongrass
- 10 drops Lavender
- 10 drops Lime
- Combine the essential oils with the vodka in a bottle and shake well.
- Set a aside for 3 weeks.
- After the time, add the distilled water and then let it stand for a further week. (Don’t forget to shake the bottle once a day while it is standing over the 4 week period).
- After 4 weeks, transfer the mixture to dark bottles for storage in a dark cool place.
Materials and Ingredients :
2 cups distilled water
- 3 tbsp vodka
- 1 tbsp lemon (chopped)
- 1 tbsp orange peel (chopped)
- 5 drops Lemon Verbena
- 10 drops Mandarin
- 10 drops Orange
- Mix the fruit peels with the vodka in a jar, cover and let it stand for 1 week.
- After the time, strain the liquid and add the essential oils and distilled water to it.
- Let the mixture stand for a further 2 weeks (shake the jar well once a day during this time).
- Place the final solution after the 2 weeks in a dark bottle or in a cool dark area.
